After 4 grueling years of medical and veterinary school, Trey and I decided there was no time to waste - it was time for a baby! On December 23, 2009 we finally had a positive pregnancy test! We were so shocked and excited at our early Christmas present, and couldn't wait to share with the family. So, on Christmas Eve, 2009 as the families gathered to celebrate Christmas, we let everyone in on the secret. The months that followed were full of growing (a lot of growing!) and rearranging (the house, of course) to make room for a baby boy.

After lots of hard work and time, the nursery finally came together. Some special items in Thomas' nursery include the bassinet used by both Trey and his mom as babies and crib bumper pads and skirt made by Grandma Gorney. Check them out in the pictures!
