And then there were mini's

For Christmas, Trey requested specifically that Santa bring Thomas a miniature horse.  So, shortly after our return from PA, we began searching for the perfect little mini.  After a brief perusal of the infamous Craig's List, we found Tucker.  Tucker came home with us mid-January.  He was then joined by Annabella, aka Bella, our second mini just a few short weeks later.  After a rocky start to mini ownership, I think they have finally settled into our farm and can now call this place home indefinitely.  One of these days, we will be able to let Thomas ride them, or drive them (Bella is trained to pull a cart) and I know he'll have a ball doing it.  For now, they have added to our "yard ornament" numbers and keep us on our toes in attempt to avoid their mini kicks and bites!

Tucker and Thomas, the only time he has been on Tuck's back!

So, there's Tucker.  Pictures have not yet been taken of Bella.  I will be sure to do that and post them as well!  There is no arguing that they are cute as can be.  We'll see!

T's second Christmas!

After an eventful and active fall - we officially moved into our new home at the end of October, celebrated Thanksgiving with the family in Keowee, attended multiple school programs - it was finally time for Christmas!  Thomas helped us pick out and decorate the tree this year, a giant step up from last year.  His favorite Christmas decorations were definitely the nativity scenes (I think we now have 2 or 3 donkeys and sheep glued together).  We spent Christmas day in Hartsville with our families and then Thomas and I headed up to Pennsylvania to visit grandparents, aunt, uncles, cousins.....

T napped while we brought the tree inside - this is his first look at it set up in the house
